More on search modes

Use the limits to control where the search looks:

  • Full text
    • Finds items only available in full-text online.
  • Catalogue only
    • Finds items from the library catalogue.
  • Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals
    • This limits results to only those items which are published in peer reviewed sources.
  • Publication Date
    • This limits results to items published within a specific date range.

Refine Your Results

Searches that are not precise enough will return far too many results to read. Use the limiters found under "Refine Results" to reduce your results to only the most relevant. To apply any of these limiters, check the box next to it. To remove any limiters you've applied, find the limiter in the box under "Current Search" and click the gray "X" symbol next to it.

Remember to check the "Peer Reviewed" box to make sure all of your results are scholarly and appropriate for your research.
