Finding the RVC Databases

Visit the library's website and find the link labeled "Databases A-Z" on the library's homepage to begin database searching.

Choosing a Database

The Estelle M. Black Library is subscribed to over a hundred different databases covering various subject areas and media types. If you already know which database you're looking for, simply search for the title in the search box to go directly to it. If you're not sure where to start, try browsing our databases by Subject or by Database Type, or check out our featured databases.

Browsing by Subject: Change "All Subjects" to the subject you're researching. Each subject includes a list of databases that are designed to support that subject. Note box labeled "Best Bets!" on each subject page. Try these databases first.

Browsing by Database Type: To search for specific types of media (videos, eBooks, articles, magazines, etc.), change "All Database Types" to the media type you need.
