The Advanced Search menu can be found by clicking "Advanced Search" next to the search bar in the catalog. Use this menu to create a more detailed search.
Search for: Allows you to set which collection you're searching in. Search in "All I-Share Libraries" to find books RVC doesn't own.
Search filters: Search for multiple search terms separated by boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT). Follow this link to learn more about boolean operators.
Material Type: Set the type of material you're searching for here. Settings can be changed to allow you to search for books, articles, CDs, and DVDs.
Start Date/End Date: Avoid searching for outdated publications by restricting the search period.
