Drafting is what writers call the multi-step process it takes to create a piece of writing. It includes everything from writing sentences and constructing paragraphs to organizing these parts into an effective essay, story, or article. By exploring the topics in the Drafting menu, you can learn more about the individual parts it takes to compose a complete, college-level writing project. You can also learn to avoid the common pitfalls of tackling one of the most common types of college writing: the research paper.
Use the navigation menu on the left of your screen to find specific topics within the Drafting category.
The RVC Writing Center offers many resources to help you with these topics and all of your writing concerns. Titles of available resources can be found in the navigation bars along the left side of this page and/or by using the search bar.
